It took me a minute to realize what I was looking at, it’s a lot smaller than I thought. The door handles are pretty cool, and the back end looks good. Overall I like it, but I really expected Lincoln’s flagship sedan to be larger than a 5 Series. It hardly looked that big even.

I thought the same thing. at first I thought it was Lincoln’s version of the Fusion. It looks nice, the only thing i didn’t like was the exhaust. I thought they could have done a better job hiding the fake tips.

I thought it was an updated MKZ until I noticed the door handles. After some googling, it’s about the same size as a CT6, even a 7 Series. For some reason it looks smaller

I sat in one at an auto show a couple weeks ago - it was really nice. Lots of detail and thought put into the interior and the door handles are definitely pretty trick.
It was a bit smaller than I thought, but had plenty of space in the rear seats. Seems pretty well packaged.

it must be based off a Taurus which is HUGE

Pretty sure that’s a Saab 9-5 bro.

Exactly, I don’t imagine they’d go to the trouble of designing yet another transverse-engined, AWD capable platform that was bigger than th Fusion but smaller than the Taurus. I mean I hope they wouldn’t...

There’s a 2011 9-5 that shows up in my neighbourhood every once in a while, I love it

Someone at my office building drives one.
There was a time that I was parked between it and a Buick LaCrosse and I almost took a picture because I was surrounded by the same GM platform. But I didn’t.

Agreed. I saw lots of them over the summer when I visited Detroit. Looks good, but needs to be bigger. Much bigger.

But the 9-5 looks better despite being older and out of production.

This and the CT6 both seem a bit on the small side for what are supposed to be full-size models.
